I have heard of some rumors that loud music can damage my ears. I am a music lover and i am concerned with things that i have read. Why does it damaging to my ears? What does it exactly do?

What you have read is true... loud noise or music for that matter can cause damage to your ears. It is damaging because once the ears are exposed to loud noise/music, the cochlea get damaged and it can cause temporary and permanent hearing loss.
